We’re dealing with an influx of information. Some information resides on our local systems. Some resides out in the “cloud.” Other information resides on external services provided by Facebook, Google, and others. We have some information residing on local desktops and laptops, we have EVEN MORE information residing on phones, tablets, and other devices. How does a reasonable person expect that we are going to have our employees successfully manage all of this varied and disconnected information on behalf of our companies?
